The pilot project was successfully launched
in 1998 for beginning teachers, students from the Gifted Education
Programme and some officers from MOE HQ.
The following three on-line courses were offered at that time:
- Managing Time
- Pupil Management System II
- Microsoft Office 97
VITAL was successfully launched on 10 Jul 2001
by then Permanent Secretary of Education, Mr Chiang Chie Foo.
Since the launch, VITAL has hosted a wide range of on-line courses available
for all MOE staff.
